Legacy of Literacy Society

Literacy Services of Wisconsin has been a leading provider of community-based adult education services in Southeastern Wisconsin since its founding in 1965. Thanks to skilled and committed staff, mission-focused volunteers, and generous donors, LSW partners with adults of all skill levels where they live and work, delivering quality educational programming in their neighborhoods and helping them achieve their goals.

The Legacy of Literacy Society was created to ensure the vitality of this critical educational programming for decades to come. Planned giving programs like the Society are powerful and flexible tools to support and sustain our mission and connect our friends of literacy more closely than ever.

Create Your Legacy

Planned gifts help ensure the long-term sustainability of Literacy Services of Wisconsin’s mission. Your legacy gift recognizes the importance of adult education opportunities in our community, both today and well into the future. The options for planned gifts are many, and flexible, and can offer generous tax benefits. Thank you for your support of LSW!

If you would like to explore a planned gift to Literacy Services of Wisconsin, please contact Director of Development & Volunteer Engagement, Chad Knezel, at 414-226-5357 or chad@literacyservices.org.

When I left Literacy Services after serving on the staff for 15 years, I knew I had left a piece of my heart there. So, when I was updating my estate plan a number of years ago, I made the joy-filled decision to leave a piece of my treasure there as well.  I believe so strongly in the vital work of LSW that I want to continue my support when I’m no longer writing that annual check!
