THREE CORE PROGRAMS

Adult Basic Education reading program

For students who want to improve their reading and spelling skills. We use a special phonics program, the Wilson Reading System.

English Language Learning (ELL) program

GED® / pre-GED® program

For students who want to prepare for taking GED® tests.

CLASS TIMES

Students should commit to at least two 90-minute class sessions (three hours) a week. Our staff will help you set your schedule.

CLOSINGS: Occasionally Literacy Services will cancel classes and close due to adverse or unsafe weather conditions. To be alerted to these closings follow local media announcements for weather related closings, call our office, or check our website to verify if we have canceled classes.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

We work hard to make your education affordable. The registration fee is $25. If you cannot afford this fee, you will not be turned away. Please discuss this with a staff member.
